Herringbone (bark)

Prince of Wales (blue)

Herringbone is perhaps the most interchangeable of woven patterns: it's rather formal in a single colour, but conversely relaxed in dual tone. Technically meanwhile, it's a variation on the twill weave. In French it's called chevron, which is a carpentry term designating pieces of wood aligned at a right angle, while the word 'herringbone' refers to that fish's bare skeleton. We've selected a sleek yet subtle brown on brown colour scheme.
